Pin in create Facebook Icon on Your Taskbar

To add a Facebook icon to the taskbar which when clicked opens directly to the Facebook website. For this, the user needs to create this shortcut of the Facebook website and download an image of the Facebook icon in the .ico file format. Once the icon is formed, the user has to navigate to Facebook from the icon from any format or type of programs or websites being used.

• On your Internet browser, go to the Facebook site and bookmark the page.
• Now, click on your bookmark list. Next, right-click on the bookmark of Facebook and choose the option of “Copy” from the menu.
• Then minimize the browser window and right-click on the desktop. From the menu select “Create Shortcut”. You can see a new shortcut to Facebook on your desktop.
• From a genuine site download a Facebook .ico image. Save the downloaded icon to your desktop for further use.
• On your desktop, right-click on the Facebook shortcut and then click on “Properties.”
• Browse to the “Web Document” tab and click on to select the “Change Icon.”
• Click on browse to find the way to your desktop that has the saved Facebook .ico file.
• Now double-click on the Facebook .ico file. Next click on “OK” twice. With this click the shortcut icon gets modified to appear like the Facebook icon that had been downloaded.
• Now exit the Properties window and return to your desktop.
• Finally, click on the Facebook shortcut and drag it to the taskbar of the computer to attach it as a new Facebook icon.

Now, as soon as you click on the Facebook icon, it will directly open the Facebook page.
