- Make sure that none of the air vents on your PC case are blocked. Avoid piling up papers and books on top of the air vents on the monitor. Keep ample space for the computer monitor to breath.
- Do not keep draperies and other fabric in contact with the fan.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in and around the fan.
- Place the computer in a way that it is few inches away from the wall as the fans are mostly situated at the back of the computers.
- Keep the computer at safe distance from hairy pets like, dogs or cats.
- Make it a point to remove the case once or twice a year for the time being and clean the dust and debris collected with vacuum cleaner. In case you have hairy pets, practice this frequently.
- The computer should be placed in an area that should be clean yet airy.
- Mind that the room containing the system should never be too hot.
- Make sure that CPU of the computer doesn’t rest on floor to avoid gathering debris.
